IGNITE Leadership Conference

Bishop Oriel Ballano, Pastor of Doulos for Christ Ministries and Philippines National G12 Coordinator.  Oriel and his wife Ger pastor an explosive G12 church in Manila that is setting a model for the nations.  They are experts in the systems and strategies of the G12 Vision, training leaders, transitioning churches, and exponential growth.  There church has grown in 7 years from 200 people to more than 6,000.

Joel Holm is the founder of PathFinders International, an international missions organization that helps churches around the world to get connected and involved in mission.  He is also the author of, “Church Centered Mission.”  God is using Joel and his family to impact the world by mobilizing churches to get involved in world mission.  Joel is also very gifted to speak on the topic of leadership.  You will leave his sessions with a series of questions to answer that will help you diagnose who you are and what you are called to do.

Day sessions 9am-1:30pm

Cost:

Total Conference Package (Including all day sessions, night sessions, and conference syllabus) – $60/person; $90/couple; $120 for immediate family (including children living in the same house, under the age of 18).

EVENING SESSIONS ONLY (Includes all evening session and conference syllabus for each paid registrant)  - $25/person; $40/couple; $50 for immediate family (including children living in the same house, under the age of 18).

Childcare will not be provided.  (Note: If a child is brought to the conference that is not a infant, you will be charged.)

Hello Leaders,

There will be an informational meeting tonight, 6:00 p.m., at the church for those interested in Internship.  This will also be open for the parents of those who desire to be interns.  We will have the Internship packets available at the meeting for you to take.  There will be a short time of giving you all of the details of internship and a chance to ask any questions.  If you are planning on doing internship you should plan on being here at the meeting.  Please let anyone else know who is planning on signing up!  Also, email me at nate@worldonfire.com if you plan on attending and if your parent is attending so I can be properly prepared.  Thank you and hope to see you tonight!

Generations Church

Leaders-

Saturday night after service there will be a party at Generations Church.  This is  a great opportunity to bring family and friends!  There will be jumpers, games, skating, a hotdog eating competition, and tacos free of charge. Sodas will also be available for $.50.   So bring EVERYONE you know its going to be a blast.  So start spreading the word to your team and everyone else!  If you can’t get excited about this check your pulse

Hello Leaders,

We are very excited about our internship program starting here at Generations! I wanted to give you important dates for internship and also some information.

* Packets will be available this Friday the 13th at the church.  They will also be available online so that someone can print them off at their house.  We will have a table set up next weekend with information and the packets available there too.

* Packets (applications) will be due on Friday the 27th of August.

* We will have an informational meeting on Friday the 13th and Monday the 23rd of August for all interns and any parents.  These meetings will be held at the church at 6:00 PM for both dates.

* Internship start date will be September 1st.

Internship will be for anyone interested in a program that creates discipline and excellence in a persons life, in all areas.  It teaches how to be radical and to live and think like a leader.  There are standards of holiness (no dating, etc.) that each intern is required to live by.  They will have to put in hours each week at the church and will also have to be available every weekend to prepare for services.  It is a high commitment and intense year of training.

Senior Internship is for those 18 years and older.  These interns will have jobs but need to keep evenings and weekends open.  The cost is $500 for senior internship and a $25 application fee is required.  $100 is due at the start of internship and payments can be made on the remaining $400 throughout the year.

Junior internship is for those younger than 18 years.  They will need to live at the level of Senior internship and will need to be there for weekends and as many meetings that might be held during the week as possible.  There is no cost for Junior Internship but they will be required to pay out of pocket for any events or materials that are required.

Married people can also join internship.

This will be a great outlet for you and those in your ministry that need that spiritual discipline!  Please encourage your people to join.  If you have any questions please email me at nate@worldonfire.com. Generations Church hosted a special service featuring Pastor Bert Pretorius.  Pastor Bert and his wife Charné Pretorius are the senior pastors of 3C, a church with over 12,000 members in South Africa. 

Their love for God and His people are evidenced in the many welfare and social development projects of the Church, with the Compassion for Children project feeding 10,000 underprivileged children on a daily basis.

Bert and Charné are blessed, with sons, Pearson, Damian and Tristan, and their daughter Caitlyn.

Hey Generations Church!

We are now running routes to Welton and Somerton for cell leaders who have already used every resource to get people from there to church.  Here are some of the details -

Children 5 and under must be accompanied by their parent.  Children 6-10 must be accompanied by an older sibling 11 and up.

Routes are Saturday only until we get more drivers. If you would like to volunteer you must have a license and be 21 or older and have the approval of your twelve leader.

GREAT CHANGES TO WEDNESDAY PRAYER!

Starting this Wednesday we will have corporate prayer from 5am to 6 am in the morning.  There will be leaders from Pastors Rich and Melissa’s G12 who will be leading the prayer and inspiring us to cry out to God for a fresh move of his presence and a harvest of souls. This will be a fervent time of passionate prayer with a background of worship declaring our complete dependence on God and our desire to be used my him.

Matthew 18:18-20 (New King James Version)

18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19 “Again I say[a] to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

It’s easy to see from this verse the power of praying together and agreeing together.  This is what we will be doing this Wednesday morning.

The sanctuary will be open the rest of the day [6a.m.-4:30p.m.] for individual prayer.

We will be using this schedule every Wednesday until further notice.

Hello Leaders,

Pastor Rich is back in town and wants to meet with the leaders of the church this Sunday the 11th!  It will be a great meeting and will be held in place of School of Leaders from 2pm till 4pm here at the church. Those who are attending the current classes of SOL 1-3 will come to this meeting in place of their regular classes.  It is mandatory for all cell leaders and will include great ministry by our pastors and also put in place practical strategies to implement in our ministry.  You don’t want to miss it.  Receive ministry from our world class pastors and join in with the church to change our city!  Have a great day and see you Sunday!
